Community Cares Award Presented to James & Grace Dy

This award was created to recognize a recipient who has helped bring people together from our culturally diverse community. Each year, an individual, company, family, or organization is celebrated for their outstanding community leadership in spreading the joy of giving with Richmond Hospital Foundation.

James Dy quotes his father, “When you’ve made enough, it’s time to help others.” This guiding principle has led James and Grace Dy to contribute generously to health care in Richmond for many years. Their generosity goes beyond personal giving as they have stepped forward as matching donors in fundraising campaigns, doubling community donations to inspire others to give. Their leadership has amplified impact and supported important areas of care in both the hospital and the broader community.

Doctor of Philanthropy Awards

Presented to donors with generous lifetime contributions of more than $50,000. Heartfelt gratitude to all for acting as ambassadors of care in Richmond.

Community Fundraiser Awards

Presented to individuals, organizations, or groups for their outstanding commitment in organizing community fundraisers for 5 or more consecutive years. Thank you for being role models to every generation in our community.
