Ala in Vancouver United for Better Care
“Ala”, which means “we” when pronounced in Shanghai dialect, is the name of a Shanghai community group comprised of members united by connection and shared roots. Ala members care deeply about working together to support local health care and help ensure families feel more supported during times of need.
During Ala in Vancouver’s 10th anniversary dinner celebration, members raised $3,000 to support Richmond’s most urgent health care needs. Their donation will help bring forward advanced life-saving equipment, innovative care programs, and medical research that benefit patients and families in Richmond.
Thank you to Ala Vancouver for bringing the community together to support local health care.
